Hotel California is one of the best selling songs of all time. The eagles masterfully crafted as story of caution and intrigue as they explored the power of fame and drugs they saw all around them in the world of music. For my illustrated take on the song, I re-interpreted the song as a dark and cautionary tale of a trap, waiting for weary travelers in the desert. Once caught, they are used and bled dry of all joy for the all powerful "night man".
